Maybe you don't have access to a computer but have always wondered what it is all about, without having to go out and purchase a PC (Personal Computer). Perhaps you know how to use the word processing program but would like to discover a couple of new tricks.

Internet

We will introduce you to the World Wide Web (WWW) (the Internet) - the thing everyone is talking about. We will teach you how to "surf" the Internet (To "surf" the Internet means to go from one location to another in search of information). We will show how to retrieve information from the internet and how to send and receive e-mail (Messages, usually text, sent from one person to another via a computer).
